New

A second copy of your backups: Your site’s backups now have a second copy, updated nightly and kept with a separate provider.
Background processes for your apps: Run background workers for Laravel, Node.js and other apps from the Worker Processes section of your website’s dashboard, and contact us if you don’t see it on your plan.

Faster malware checks: Changed website files are now checked for malware every few minutes, and anything found is quarantined automatically.
Email from your website: Password resets, form notifications and order receipts now go out through a dedicated email delivery service built to get mail to the inbox.
No more disk speed limits: We removed disk speed limits on every plan, so your site can read and write data as fast as its server allows.
New websites start on PHP 8.5: New sites now start on this current version, and you can change any site’s PHP version yourself.
Current operating system: The servers that host your websites and email now run the current long-term version of their operating system, which keeps receiving security updates for years.

Same-day security fixes: When a serious PHP security issue became public on October 21, we added a firewall rule and installed the fixes on our servers that same day.
